With the end of the Fall 2016 Semester approaching, we thought we’d approach the final ReCESS event of the semester, a little differently. This time around, in addition to our research focus, we invite graduate students to share questions, issues, and stories that reflect your experience of the doctoral program so far at ASU. For more junior students, this could serve as an informal formal to air out any questions, issues, or concerns you’ve been challenged with this semester, as well as anything you might be wondering about for the journey ahead. For more senior students, this is a chance to share your own experiences and guidance in an informal context. For all students, it’s a chance to share a meal (which we’ll provide) with fellow doctoral students and build community through conversation.
This final meet-up of the semester is scheduled for Thursday, November 17, from 12:00pm-1:30pm, in Farmer 302 (“the Grad Space”) with lunch provided (but you can bring your own if you like!).
As always, we’ll provide good nutritious food and excellent company. As in prior sessions,we continue to welcome discussion about your work as a graduate student any stage of the process – research designs in flux, a qualifying paper gone haywire, problems in data analysis, or polished conference or job presentations.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
