On behalf of TCDC, we’d like to wish everyone a warm welcome back to campus for the Spring 2017 semester. Here are few updates on what we’ve been planning for the upcoming months:
Next Week: TCDC’s 3rd Annual Education Research Conference
If you haven’t heard already, the Teachers College Doctoral Council is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Education Research Conference on Friday, January 20th 2017, from 9am to 3pm. This conference is a unique opportunity for students to present their research regardless of what stage in the research process a project is in.
This year, we were pleased to review 50 proposals from graduate students from ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College, School of Film Dance, & Theater, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, College of Health Solutions, Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, and School of Music.
We look forward to hearing about the great work you’ll be presenting this year in the service of educational research.
If you have any questions regarding your conference presentation or the TCDC conference in general, please contact the TCDC officers at tcdcasu@gmail.com.
February 7th: General Meetings Kick off!
The first general meeting of the Spring 2017 semester is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7th, from 12:00 noon – 1:00pm in the Graduate Student Workspace on Tempe Campus (Farmer 302). In an effort to accommodate as wide a variety of student availabilities as possible, we’ve decided to vary the meeting locations and times for the remainder of the semester, pending responses received from student surveys.
As in the past, general meetings are open to doctoral students in all programs in the Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College, and light refreshments will be served. Come learn more about our offerings, get to know our officers, and have your voice heard as an important member of our university community!
