Hope everyone’s semester has been off to a great start! We’d like to share few event updates for the month of February that we’d love for you to join in on!
February 16: Lunch & Chat on Our Role as Academics in Tense Political Times
Join us during next week’s ReCESS session, Thursday, February 16 from 12:00pm until 1:30pm for an informal discussion on navigating our role as budding educational researchers in tense political times. While we welcome voices across the political spectrum, this session will focus less on specific political issues, and more on what we can or should be doing to bring our academic work and our own interests in advocating for the public good together. Faculty, including Dr. Gustavo Fischman, are also joining us, and lunch will be served to all!
February 18th: Come Hike “A Mountain”
Please join TCDC for our first social event of the new year on Saturday, February 18th from 10am to 12pm. We will meet at 10am at Royal Coffee Bar on the corner of College Ave and 5th St, then we’ll have a leisurely hike up A Mountain. Feel free to bring friends, family members, and/or significant others, all are welcome. No need to RSVP, just show up and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air!
