Next week is our final round of events for the Spring 2017 Semester! Be sure to join us to explore new skills, celebrate past victories, and prepare for the future!

Research Software Training Day: Monday April 17

All doctoral students are invited for a day of skill-share regarding a variety of software platforms commonly used across both qualitative and quantitative research projects. Join us to brush up your skills with statistical software, qualitative tools , and citation management software! Detailed schedule is as follows:

10 – 11 am – NVivo
11 am 12 pm – Dedoose
12 – 1:15 pm – Citation Mangement Programs – PaperPile, Mendeley, Zotero
1:15 – 2 pm – SPSS
2 – 3 pm – PowerPoint

Stress Relief Day: Wednesday, April 19

It’s that time in the semester where we could all use a break, so please join us for Stress Relief Day Spring 2017 on April 19th from 1-3 in Farmer 302 (see the attached flyer).

ReCESS Meet-Up for AERA Preparation: Thursday April 20

Join us in the Farmer 302 conference room next Thursday, April 20th from 12:00pm – 1:30pm for our monthly ReCESS meet-up for sandwiches, snacks, and a space to check in with other students on the progress of your research, exchange tips for troubleshooting issues, or even fine-tune a pitch for a conference or paper proposal for AERA.
